Make a Walker Bag for yourself, your family, or just to give away to those in need!
If you use a walker, or know someone who does, you’ll understand the utility of having a bag that you don’t need to carry. A walker bag attaches to the walker with velcro and/or ties, and lets you organize and carry all the stuff you or your family member needs to carry from room to room, or home to shopping, etc. (This patterns is derived from one on Spruce Crafts)
This pattern is easy to make, but has 6 separate pockets to carry glasses, wallet, tissues, or whatever. There are 2 front pockets, 2 back pockets, plus one large central pocket. It’s big enough to stash important papers on the way to the doctor, and the smaller pockets can be subdivided for custom pockets for a pen, glasses, or whatever you need. The finished bag will be approximately 14 1/2 inches wide and 10 1/2 inches tall (excluding straps).
